CCI Big 4 Shotshell 45Colt 140gr #4Shot (10 Rounds)

CCI Big 4 Shotshell .45 Colt 140 Grain #4 Shot – 10 Rounds

Bigger Shot. Harder Hits. Purpose-Built for Close-Range Pest Control.

The CCI Big 4 Shotshell .45 Colt 140 Grain #4 Shot is a specialized handgun load designed for close-range pest control. Unlike CCI’s traditional Pest Control loads that use much smaller shot, the Big 4 line uses larger #4 lead shot, providing substantially larger pellets for greater energy on snakes and other appropriate pests.

Each .45 Colt cartridge carries a 140-grain payload of #4 shot contained in CCI’s shot capsule. When fired, the capsule releases the pellets to produce a close-range pattern, giving shooters a purpose-built alternative to conventional single-projectile ammunition when dealing with small, moving pests.

For ranchers, hunters, campers, and anyone spending time in snake country, CCI Big 4 is a useful specialty load to keep available for a compatible .45 Colt handgun.

Why It Stands Out

The key difference is right in the name: Big 4.

Compared with fine #9 shot, #4 shot uses much larger individual pellets. That gives each pellet considerably more mass and makes Big 4 an interesting option for shooters who want more authority from a handgun shotshell while retaining the wider hit probability of a multi-pellet load.

It’s a highly specialized round, but for a .45 Colt owner working around a ranch, hunting property, or other snake-prone environment, it’s a useful specialty ammunition option.

Perfect For

Ranch and farm use, snake country, hunting camps, rural properties, outdoor work, and .45 Colt owners looking for a larger-shot pest-control load.
