Classic Roller-Delayed Design. Precision Turkish Manufacturing. Iconic Firearm Heritage.
The Century Arms AP5 Base 9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol brings one of the world’s most recognizable firearm designs to modern enthusiasts. Manufactured by MKE in Turkey and imported by Century Arms, the AP5 is based on the legendary roller-delayed blowback platform known for its distinctive profile, engineering, and extensive history.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the AP5 Base features an 8.9-inch threaded barrel, matte black finish, adjustable sights, and a traditional manual safety. Its recognizable stamped-steel receiver and classic pistol configuration reflect the heritage of the original design.
The AP5 utilizes a roller-delayed blowback operating system, a mechanical design that distinguishes it from conventional direct-blowback firearms. This operating system has a long history in military, law enforcement, and sporting firearm applications.
This Base configuration includes one 30-round detachable magazine and a sling, offering a straightforward factory package without the additional accessories found in some other AP5 configurations.
For firearm collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate historic designs and traditional European-style engineering, the Century Arms AP5 Base represents a distinctive addition to the modern sporting firearm market.
Iconic Roller-Delayed Blowback Engineering

The result is a distinctive operating system that remains closely associated with this classic firearm platform.
