The Springfield Armory XD-M Elite Compact OSP packs the serious performance of the 10mm Auto cartridge into a compact, striker-fired pistol built for shooters who want power without moving to a full-size handgun. With a 3.8-inch hammer-forged, match-grade steel barrel, compact polymer frame, and two flush-fitting 11-round magazines, Springfield created an unusually compact platform for the hard-hitting 10mm cartridge.

As an OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) model, the forged-steel slide is factory cut to accept compatible red-dot optics using Springfield’s interchangeable mounting-plate system. Shooters who prefer traditional sights still get an excellent setup: a highly visible fiber-optic front sight paired with Springfield’s Tactical Rack U-Dot rear sight.

The XD-M Elite platform also brings several performance upgrades to the package, including Springfield’s META (Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly), fully ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release, aggressive slide serrations, and a removable short flared magwell. Remove the magwell and the pistol can also use compatible full-size 15-round XD-M 10mm magazines with grip sleeves, giving shooters the option of compact dimensions or additional capacity.
