The USGI Fighting Load Carrier (FLC) is a genuine military-surplus load-bearing vest designed to give soldiers a configurable platform for carrying magazines, canteens, medical gear, utility pouches, and other field equipment. Commonly referred to as a chest rig or tactical vest, the FLC uses extensive MOLLE/PALS webbing so you can arrange compatible pouches around the vest to suit your particular setup.
Unlike a fixed-pocket tactical vest, the FLC lets you decide what you carry and where you carry it. Add magazine pouches for range use, canteen and utility pouches for the field, or configure it as a lightweight hunting, hiking, or outdoor gear carrier.
The adjustable shoulder and waist system accommodates a wide range of users and allows the FLC to be worn over clothing or other equipment. Its open design also provides better ventilation than many fully enclosed tactical vests, making it a practical choice when carrying gear in warmer conditions.
